As a customer integration engineer you will lead external technical communications, planning, and engineering required to integrate each of our partner's web platforms and mobile applications with our Lynq platform. This role is a blend of direct customer communication (30% of your time), delivering customer integrations (30% of your time), and improving integration capabilities (40% of your time).

Job responsibilities for this role are:

  • Independently collaborate with partners and key technical stakeholders to understand their platform and integration requirements.
  • Understand and explore various integration environments to understand feasibility and delivery requirements.
  • Work with PMs and product engineers on trade offs and gaps to deliver next generation integration capabilities.
  • Create processes and systems to monitor customer onboarding and quality at scale. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Talking directly with various customers on a frequent basis to gather information and propose solutions.
  • Taking ownership of onboarding success for each of our customers.
  • Maintain and improve our integration documents and platform SDK.
  • Writing clean and maintainable code and tests suitable for partner samples.
  • Drafting design proposals for customers to explain our integration solutions.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver platform capabilities necessary for customer success.

What you should have:

  • At least 6 years of software engineering/technical consulting experience
  • 3+ years experience working directly with external customers.
  • Ability to write technical documents and communicate technically complex concepts to a variety of stakeholders with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
  • Experience with mobile hybrid development–both iOS and Android a plus.
  • Experience building production infrastructure with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with security integration technologies (Oauth, SAML, OIDC) or vendors (Auth0, OKTA, Ping).
  • Experience collaborating with engineers in remote locations across different time zones. 

Nice to have:

  • Experience with fintech platforms (Q2, Jack Henry, Fiserve).

This is a remote work from home position.
